Actress Leena Paul arrested

The South Indian actress Leena Paul(Madras Cafe fame) and her business partner Shekhar Chandrashekhar have been arrested by the Economic Offences Wing of Mumbai. 

They have been sent to police custody till June 4. According to EOW, the arrest has been made in connection with an investment fraud case. 

More details are awaited. According to a PTI report carried by NDTV.com, the actress was arrested for allegedly cheating a Chennai bank of Rs 19 cr in the year 2013.
